I absolutely love sports, well, three in particular:
Volleyball, soccer and basketball.

It's fun to play sports.
I think strategy, I think have a fun time, I think help my team.

I think it's neat that sports are a lot like spreading the Gospel.
Think about it....

Strategy: Go to the place, learn the language and teach the people.

Fun: Games, work together, help each other out and give helping hand.

Help: Give, serve, encourage, pray for them, be an example and just be with them.

And the best part is you can do this anywhere, at anytime and at anyplace.

You don't have to live in a foreign country to do these things.

You can give at church,
serve at school,
 teach in a park,
be an example at a restaurant,
or work with your dad or your mom.

There are millions of ideas out there.
You just got to find out what they are.

Ocho Means Eight

For years I wanted a dog,
and when I was really little we did have a dog,
a huge dog, and then we got rid of him.

I mean, I had little lizards, a kitten for a day, tons of snails as pets,
but never a dog......
But that was three years ago.
After we came back from furlough,
and listening to other kids all around us talking about their pets,
we couldn't take it any longer, we had to get a dog!
We named him Ocho, (Which means eight in Spanish)

1. Your probably thinking, "Who in their right mind names their dog eight?"
Wasn't my idea.

He's a Chihuahua, turning four this year,
thinks he's king of the house,
loves attention,
has two brown dots on his back that connect and they look like an eight,
that's how he got his name, and he loves traveling with us.
And truthfully speaking, if I hadn't vouched for him we wouldn't have gotten him.

2. Your probably wondering why I would write an article about my dog.

He's a part of my family, anymore we can't go on a trip without him.
Or should I say, he can't stand not getting his usual attention.😏

3 Great Christian Books You Should Read!

This Changes Everything is a new and amazing
Christian book that only came out a little while ago, It's amazing!

The End Of The Spear is an unbelievable story
about the son of one of the five missionaries that were killed in Ecuador.

Hostage Is about three family's that went to Panama
as missionaries, their husbands were held as hostages.
Also one of my favorites.

Who am I?

1 Chronicles 17:16
Then King David went in and sat before the Lord and prayed,
"Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my family,
that you have brought me this far?"

We all struggle with who we are at some point in our life.

I never knew that even King David struggled, and that really surprised me.

I mean, I struggle like everyone else, and I'm not a king or a queen.
I am an MK living in The Heart of South America.

But as I look at David's life, he was many things. (Not that I'm not)
A king, a father, a husband, a warrior, a friend, a brother, an example for his people.

He got to talk with God!
And God talked to him!

There are so many things we can ask God,
and out of all he options he said: "Who am I?"

But then again, why do Christians ask "Who am I?"
Why do I as "Who am I?"

Because we are imperfect humans.
God loves and cares about us,
that is why he gave us all the same mission,
we are all different,
so therefore we will probably complete that mission differently.
But either way it will get done.
That is why he brought David that far.

So before you ask God, "Who am I?" again.

Think about all that you are now,
to you, to your family, to your friends.

I am a daughter, a sister, a cousin, a granddaughter,
a friend, a niece, an MK and most importantly, I'm God's Girl!
And so much more!

Who are you?
You're special, you're one of a kind, you're God's child.

What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up?

I'll admit, I like the title "Missionary Kid"

But what do you want to be when you grow up?

Really, I would like to be a lot of things, like:
A missionary, a photographer, a rancher, a mom.

I have no idea what the future holds, none of us do.
But I would like to find out.

Today is Easter!
The day Jesus was resurrected!
Isn't it amazing?

What I want to know is why do some people say the
Easter Bunny is real when he's not?

I mean, I don't believe in Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny,
Monsters in the closet, or anything like that.

And to some people there is no harm in an Easter hunt.
I don't see to much harm in it.
But in my opinion, it would be easier to tell everyone
that Jesus is the true reason for Easter.

And I think finding Easter eggs can be fun!

Enjoy your Easter! 🐇

Book Wars!

Have you ever written a book?
That is what I'm struggling with right now.
I am debating whether I should write a book.
I've tried before but it's harder than it sounds.
It's fun, but hard.
And if a do write a book what would it be about?

The Middle Ages?

Ten people stranded on an island?

It's fun to write stories and books, but me, like so many others think.
"If I wrote a book would people actually read it?"
"If I wrote a book would people think it's interesting?"
"Would they like it?"

Yeah, I probably went a little over board, but you get the point, right?

Losing in a video game?

Villains in Movies?

Your neighbor?

 Low battery?

Some people say that low WiFi, loading, and low battery,
are the world's three biggest fears. And I believe
it, do you? It makes sense. In this generation, electronics
have become a big part in our every day to day life.
Which is good and bad, because if we didn't have any of these,
I wouldn't be able to tell you this.
