Ever been stung by a Red Hornet? If you have, then you know how much it hurts!
Well about two weeks ago my family and I went on a "Vacation for the day" which was going to be at a creek that we had never been to, and when we got there...
1. There was no way down.
2. When we did find (Or make) a way down it was very rocky.
3. The creek was downhill.
My mom and I were a little ways in the back, so the boys went first, (And it was not a question of bravery) what we didn't know was that there was a wasp nest underneath the rocks,
so my older brother and my dad got stung once, my younger brother didn't get stung thankfully, and then of course I has next in line to run,
I ran down,
fell over about a 3 foot cliff,
got caught in barbwire,
got stung about seven times. (once on my finger, twice on my right leg, and four times on my left leg)
It was a good thing my dad was still there, he got me out of the barbwire (as fast as possible) and he got stung again, we ran in all directions, those wasp were vicious!
They followed us until they finally gave up. I limped over to the ice cold water after they left us alone.
And sat there for awhile to soak it, now you are probably wondering what happened to my mom, right? OK, well she got to watch the whole thing from the top,
my dad snuck over there again to get my knife that fell and to tell my mom to look for another way down that didn't have any wasps. And she did.
So we sat in the water and the sand, talked, told jokes and laughed.
Later my dad found out that there were two big wasp nest under the same place were I fell into the barbwire.
After that we went up the same way my mom came down, we drove home, and believe me when I say that I was sore! we got home, it rained, the electricity went out, and I couldn't decide if I wanted it to be hot or cold.
But I am so thankful that God spared me, I could have been in the hospital.
